Since 1992, Quirk Designs architectural firm has been contributing to the built environment in Middle Tennessee with thoughtfully crafted plans for beautiful new homes, renovated older homes and a wide range of commercial projects.
Preston Quirk is known for his high level of personal service and his attention to detail. Quirk Designs enjoys a great deal of repeat business from satisfied commercial and residential clients, and residential and commercial contractors. Owners of new and renovated homes designed by the firm repeatedly refer their friends who desire a beautiful and functional home of their own.
For projects in historic neighborhoods, builders and homeowners alike seek Preston’s services because of his proven skill at capturing the essence of an era to make new or renovated structures look like they belong with their surroundings, while the interior design supports today’s style of living.
Recently, Quirk Designs has been designing a number of upscale townhouse developments, including West End Close in Nashville and The Brownstones at First and Church in Franklin. He also has a variety of other townhouse projects completed and under construction in the Acklen Park neighborhood off West End in Nashville.
Preston also enjoys working with clients who prefer a contemporary look. His list of completed projects includes some waterfront vacation homes as far away as Vermont and Florida.
Preston Quirk graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee School of Architecture. Quirk Designs offices are centrally located in Nashville in the Berry Hill neighborhood. Preston lives in a 1920’s craftsman-style bungalow in the historic Hillsboro-West End neighborhood with his wife and two children. He has been an active volunteer for Habitat for Humanity since 1986, having recently served 4 years on the Board of Directors for the Middle Tennessee chapter. He has also served on the Board of Directors for Historic Nashville, the Hillsboro-West End Neighborhood Association and on the Excellence in Development committee sponsored by the Greater Nashville Regional Council.
